Music belongs to artists, not corporations. LightTunes gives musicians a permanent home for their work — one that no company can take away. Built on Lightchain AI, powered by the community. No algorithm. No ads. No middleman. Forever.

🚀 How Uploading Works

When you upload a song, it gets split into small chunks and stored permanently on the Lightchain blockchain. This takes 1–3 minutes depending on file size. Once it's on-chain, it cannot be deleted — ever. Make sure you're happy with it before uploading.

Upload fee: $0.50 USD (paid in LCAI at current market rate). Viewing is always free. The upload fee is non-refundable — even if your content is later removed for rule violations. Upload prices may change at any time; the current fee is always shown before you confirm.

Explicit content: You must use the Explicit toggle when uploading content that contains adult language, themes, or material not suitable for all audiences. Failure to mark explicit content may result in removal without refund.

🌐 Public vs 🔒 Private

Public — your song appears in the main catalog for everyone to discover. Only upload music you created or have the rights to distribute publicly.

Private — only visible on your own channel. Good for personal listening, covers, or music you're not ready to share yet.

♥ Your Personal Playlist

Tap ♥ on any song — public or private — to add it to your personal playlist. Hit "♥ Playlist" in the nav to view your saved songs. Press play on any song and it will play straight through automatically, one after another, in order.

Your playlist is private — only you can see it, stored in your browser.

💡 Tips & Tricks
  • Group songs into albums: add ||album:Album Name|| and ||track:1|| to your description
  • Add searchable tags: use #tag in your description (e.g. #chill #90s)
  • Mark explicit content: add ||explicit|| to your description
  • Use the ♥ button to save any song to your personal playlist — public or private
  • Click any artist name to visit their channel and see all their music
  • Use the 📤 button to copy a direct link to any song and share it with anyone
  • Use the 🪙 button to mint your song as an NFT on OrcaMint
