LightTunes

Music belongs to creators, not corporations. LightTunes gives musicians and artists a permanent home for their work — one that no company can take away. Built on Lightchain AI, powered by the community. No algorithm. No middleman. Forever.

1. Connect wallet — tap Connect in the top bar.
2. Upload — pick your audio file, song title, genre, and optional cover art.
3. Pay fee & sign — approve the small LCAI fee (~$0.50 USD) and sign once. The relay stores your song on-chain (usually 1–3 minutes).
4. Keep the tab open until the progress bar finishes, or use “Browse while uploading.”

Once on-chain, uploads cannot be deleted — only hidden from this app. The upload fee is non-refundable. The current fee is always shown before you confirm.

An album is a group of songs that share the same Album / Collection name. They appear together on the Albums tab, on your channel, and in Explore.

Create a new album (when uploading)

1. Fill in Album / Collection (e.g. Summer Vibes EP).
2. Set Track # — use 1 for the first song, 2 for the next, and so on.
3. Optional: pick an Album Cover image (shown on the Albums browse page).
4. Upload each track separately with the same album name and the next track number.

Move a single into an album (already uploaded)

1. Go to My Songs or your channel — songs without an album show under 🎵 Singles.
2. Tap ✏️ Edit on the song.
3. Enter Album / Collection and Track #.
4. Tap 💾 Save to Blockchain and confirm in your wallet.

Change or add an album cover later

1. Open the Albums tab → click your album.
2. Tap 🖼️ Album Cover (only you see this on your own albums).
3. Pick a square image and sign in your wallet.

Songs marked explicit are hidden by default for all listeners. They only appear when someone checks 🔞 Show Explicit in the nav bar (their choice, on their device only).

1. When uploading, check 🔞 Explicit Content if the song has adult language or themes.
2. When editing, you can change the explicit flag the same way.
3. Listeners who want explicit music must opt in — it is never shown to everyone automatically.

• All Songs — full catalog; filter by genre at the top.
• Explore — curated picks, genres, new uploads, and featured albums.
• Trending — most-played public tracks.
• Albums — browse collections; click an album to see the tracklist and play in order.
• My Songs — your uploads (connect wallet). ♥ Playlist — songs you saved.
• Click any artist name to open their channel. Tap 💰 Tip to send LCAI (90% to artist).

Public — your song appears in the main catalog for everyone to discover. Only upload music you created or have the rights to distribute publicly.

Private — only visible on your own channel. Good for personal listening, covers, or music you're not ready to share yet.

Love a track? Hit 💰 Tip Artist while listening. Tips go straight to the creator's wallet in LCAI — 90% to the artist, 10% to LightTunes to keep the relay running. Listening stays free; tipping is optional.

Tap ♥ on any song — public or private — to add it to your personal playlist. Open ♥ Playlist in the nav and press play there — your saved songs will continue one after another in order. Browsing All Songs or genres plays one track at a time unless you turn on 🔁 Loop.

Your playlist is private — only you can see it, stored in your browser.

Install LightTunes on your phone — it opens lighttunes.win like a native app. We distribute the APK from this site (not the Play Store), so Android may show a safety warning. That is normal for sideloaded apps.

Terms of Use

LightTunes is a decentralized music interface for content stored on the Lightchain AI blockchain. The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. You use LightTunes at your own risk. We do not guarantee uptime, playback quality, permanent availability in this app, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Upload Agreement

When you upload, you confirm that:

• The upload fee is non-refundable, even if your content is later hidden or removed from this interface.
• Uploads are permanent on the blockchain and cannot be undone or erased from the chain — only removed or hidden from LightTunes.
• If uploading as Public, you own the content or have the legal right to distribute it publicly.
• You will honestly mark explicit content using the Explicit toggle. Failure to do so may result in removal without refund.
• Upload fees may change at any time without notice; the fee shown at upload time applies to that upload.

Copyright & Takedowns

Only upload music you created or have rights to distribute. Uploading copyrighted commercial music as Public may violate law and will be permanently removed from this app. Private uploads for personal listening are your own responsibility.

Copyright holders: send takedown requests via OrcaMail. We will remove infringing content from the LightTunes interface promptly. Note: on-chain data may remain on the blockchain even after removal from this app.

Blockchain Permanence

All uploads are recorded on the Lightchain blockchain. Nothing can erase them from the chain. LightTunes can only hide or remove content from this website and app — not from the public ledger. Do not upload anything you may later regret being permanent.

Explicit Content & Age

Explicit songs are hidden by default and only shown when a listener opts in via 🔞 Show Explicit. You must mark explicit content at upload. Listeners choosing explicit content should be 18 or older (or the age of majority in their region). LightTunes does not verify age.

Tips & Payments

Tips are voluntary peer-to-peer LCAI transfers via your wallet. 90% goes to the artist; 10% supports LightTunes (relay and platform). You are responsible for confirming wallet addresses and transaction amounts. Blockchain transactions are irreversible. LightTunes is not a bank, escrow, or money transmitter.

Upload fees and tips are separate from listening, which is free.

Privacy

LightTunes is a lightweight web app. We may process:

• Wallet addresses you connect (public on-chain; used for uploads, tips, and channel pages).
• Browser storage (playlist, follows, explicit preference) — stays on your device.
• Play counts for public tracks (relay-backed, aggregated).
• Upload metadata and files sent to the relay for on-chain storage.

We do not sell personal data. Third parties (wallet apps, RPC providers, GitHub for thumbnails, Railway relay) have their own policies. Contact us via OrcaMail for privacy questions.

Moderation

LightTunes may hide, remove, or permanently ban content or wallets that violate these policies, community standards, or applicable law. Moderation affects this interface only, not the underlying blockchain record.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LightTunes and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including lost funds, failed uploads, incorrect tips, copyright disputes, or reliance on on-chain permanence. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to stop using LightTunes.
